Matthew 28:1 10 early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone and sat on it. His face shone like lightning and his clothing was as white as snow.
Guards shook with fear when they saw him, and they fell into a dead faint. Then the angel spoke to the women. Don't be afraid, he said. I know you're looking for Jesus who was crucified. He isn't here. He is risen from the dead, just as he said would happen.
Well, wait a minute. Jesus was a man. He came to earth as a man. A man empowered by the Holy Spirit. Why couldn't death hold him? 1 Peter 2:22
He never sinned nor ever deceived anyone. Romans 5 continues in verses 18 to 19 yes, Adam's one sin brings condemnation for everyone, but Christ's one act of righteousness brings a right relationship with God and new life for everyone. The gift is for everyone, but only those who desire it. Those who repent will actually receive it.
Verse 19 continues: because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners. But because one other person obey God, many will be made righteous. 1 Peter 2:24 says, he himself bore our sins in his body on the cross so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness. And Romans 10:9, 10:13 if you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it's by believing in your heart you are made right with God and it's openly declaring your faith that you are saved. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. This gift of righteousness, this gift of eternal life is available for everyone.

Pray with me: Jesus. I believe you are the Son of God and I believe you died for me. I believe you rose from the grave to bring me life and freedom. I confess that I'm a sinner.
Forgive me for my sins. I give you my life. Be my Savior and my Lord. Come into my heart Jesus and and change me from the inside out. Thank you for saving me and giving me new life. In your precious name I pray.
