God's Word renews our minds and changes our thinking. The Word of God rewires our thought patterns, enabling us to make wise God honoring decisions. Romans 12:2 do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you'll be able to test and approve what God's will is his good, pleasing and perfect will.
How do we renew our minds? We read the Bible. Scripture renews our minds, aligning our thoughts with God's will. 2 Corinthians 10:5 we take every thought captive to obey Christ. The Word of God enables us to overcome destructive or sinful thought patterns. We literally can replace those thoughts by renewing our mind with God's Word.
The Bible serves as your spiritual gps. It warns you about choices that seem right but lead to disaster. It redirects you when you're on the wrong path, and it guides you toward God's plans and purposes for your life.
